Stansbury 20+ solid Southerly

F2 SXs 90, HSM GPS 6, FF22 sid

Had to work today and it seemed windy so checked Bom after work and it was 20+ at Edithburgh weather station. Sent Trick a message but he was already out sailing. Hurried there and got out amongst it. Settled in to the hour and was real happy to be properly powered up. Tried gybing tighter and had some good ones late in the session. It was a cracking session and i hope the Bogans at LG got some stronger wind as wellSmile Wanted to sail a bit longer but Trick was worn out from distance sailing so in for a beer with me buddy.

Top 10 daySmile

Rigged the Lof RB7 but went with the Isonic87 nearly didnt make it to the wind line and was thinking the big board would have been betterUndecided

It built a bit & had a nice hour & a half then hoppy turned up & the wind kicked in to finnish a cracker session on the Plane all the time NICE

Started 15-17 with teaser gusts then built to 17-20 then some gusts.

Lake George absolute glass when we arrived and 12-15k. Rigged 6.5 Ezzy on Exercet58, fantastic sailing on glass with no sound and so little wind, it filled in later but the peak was early, awesome fun. Achieved what I was hoping, wanted to see if I could still crack 30k, happy about that, not a pb but that was a while ago.

Day 2 - Golden lake - 15 to 20 knots.

Had expectations of new month k's and distance but wind not as good as what we saw at spit campsite.  Used the 6.3 / 87 patrik combo and Tribal delta 20 and was planing in glass in 13 to 15 knots - it's surreal and unexplanable - so much fun.

The wind wasn't the usual powerful LG but the water was the flattist i have ever seen it.

The wind soon became gusty so Sam and me headed in to change boards.

I chose the 100 Patrik and Sam the Fanatic falcon 114 - Sam made the right choice - he was smoking.

I struggled and glugged alot in the 110 k's and did alot of swearing and cursing and was Angry Capatin bogan lol.

Still better than working and tomorrow is another day and wont be underpowered tomorrow... BRING IT ON!!!

Patrik 87 / Patrik 100 / 2020 ka sail race 6.3 / Tribal Delta 20.

Had a great day.

Wind never came in full.

Used my small board first with 7m but quickly decided against that.

Then got 114 Falcon out with the 24 delta fin and my point seven 7m sail.

Gear felt soo good for what was light wind.

That fin matches my 114 Falcon like a Dildo fits you know what.

Hope tomorrow i can improve my numbers a little.
