Test for the 900SB wing on 115+ fuesleage with -2 degree 'thin' 255 rear wing set at -1 degree... my most agressive yet! Wow that thing points now!
I had the mast base very far forward and still managed to breach about 3 times upwind, but only mild so stayed in the straps and powered on. Felt fine downwind, so go me... i've progressed from -2 through -1.5 a few weeks ago to -1 degree now.
For Slalom I might end up with -3 though! Yet to confirm!
FMX was awesome as always and the 9.0 Iris worked a charm... could have done with 1cm more downhaul, but I didn't realise quite how windy it was (offshore!).
Few nice gybes, few awful. Few nice/mediocre tacks and a few awful.
Since I had no buddies, I had fun chasing boats as they passed kurnell, 1st massive cruiser downwind as I did 20kts. Easy. Back upwind at about 16kts went past a family in a small fibreglass pleasure boat. Then a few minutes later zoomed past what looked like an offshore fishing boat at least 5kts slower than me! Jetskis still won!
Oh and I hit something in the water... maybe a silver fish, jelly or bag. No damage as I wasn't going so fast.
Stopped after < 1hr since wind was stronger than anticipated, offshore, all passing boats heading home, and no buddies!
