Albany, WA, AU CA66 KAR 7.1 fangy22 light winds, plenty of water, overcast and mild. Sailed with Jeremy, Woody, Reg, Mike, Alby and Cam. Ron joined us later in the day. Was able to keep going all day on the 7.1 but few planing gybes and a miserable nm and hr. That being said I had a fabulous time sailing in a world class venue with world class companions.

another light wind lilacs day, tis time no sun, but more consistent than yesterday. Went with the same gear, 55 board 6.2 konceot and 20@55 fangiesddeltoid.

Was finding the lulls, so Woody kindly lent me his 61cm tabou, this kept planning better, but I had trouble gybing it.

Nice to share with Cam,  Woody, Reg, Waricle, Morts and Alby who was rigging as I came in

Yesterday's hour and todays distance has done the trick with the76 year old rankings.

Still room for improvement, but no hurry on that.

here's my colouring in.

Last on the water again just as everyone was exiting, feels just like a work dayUndecided

Great morning/afternoon out with my Chicky kayaking up the Franklin river in Walpole so peacefull paddling with the big trees either side.

Got back at around 3 and after chatting with Dr Cam decided to again use the 7.8 fearing another skunking like yesterday. Fortunately this didn't happen, yes there were a few holes but the bigger sail managed to go through then.

Decided before I went out that I'd have a crack at an hour which is not my strong suit as I'm more than a bit of a gumby when it comes to changing direction, not tonight though made them all, was let down by the slow bits, didn't fall of the plane but did wascof quite some speed, apart from the peak speed most of my faster bits were in the chop as the board was a bit sticky in the smoooooth.

Lotta fun.

Considering the heat up in Perth the cool breeze and flat water of Lilacs was Nirvhana.  Well done everyone, nice solid sailing by all.  Decrepit not so decrepit afterall it seems...and thanks for the loan of the weed fin, a great improvement over my usual weed grabbers.  Thanks Mark for your coaching and encouragement to go further in spite of me being near death at 95km.
