919 days ago 2 categories   Sans Souci, NSW, AU bit of a shocker today, just as i left the beach the southerly kicked in to 35 kts sea got angery and i got hammered , swam more than i sailed, finally made it back to the beach where luke was waitingto drive me back to where i started . arr the drive of shame!!! after i got back the breeze settled down and was quite sailable.

Started off with 6.4m 80L which quickly became a handfull after a few good runs. Changed down to 5.8m and waited for the rain and squals to pass through, as the wind then decided to drop and become patchy. Very choppy conditions and challenging. Good fun, not so good for Wayne which ended all good. Team moral booster beer at the end.

A tricky session thunder, lighting and rain squalls, Rig a 7.0m was very overpower and too much chop with dark clouds coming over went back to shore
Rig a 6.2m and went back out and deal with the wind up too 35kts and plenty of chop.
Great too see most of the team out and a few beers after sailing always good.
