Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. NNW wind so tried to find flat water behind the spoil islands, but they blocked the wind to much. Best speed in the middle with 10-15 cm chop, which limited downwind angles. Pretty happy seeing a 35 knot top speed - PB for the US, and 3rd fastest ever. Water level was relatively high (0.75 ft) so more chop than yesterday.

Misjudged the time and did not head back right away when the wind dropped, so had a 30 minute walk through mud, even after Nina switched boards with me. Well worth the walk, though. Fun to sail the Missile in good conditions. It sure accelerates a lof faster than the Falcon 89!

Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. Happy to see another 33 knot session. Choppier today than yesterday so angle to wind for the top speed run was just 114 degrees, compared to 128 degrees yesterday. W54, RB5.6, SD19.
