An early start from Perth. Was keen to try an hour on the Manta66 and Evo12 7.4 in light conditions. Just to see what could be made of it. Got mid 24s I think for the hour. Swapped to the FMX 98 still using the tribal delta 22. Faster but very draggy as the tide went out towards the end of the 2nd hour. Quite variable conditions in the 2nd hour with a swinging wind and chop then a lowering tide with sticky alphas due to the weed. Challenging but lots of fun. Felt good sailing with the spirit of Reg pushing the efforts like he did. Good to see Morts then Ronnie who were left to enjoy the building wind. Back to perth. Top day.
