Point Grey, Measured 12/19kts, was about that at Point Grey which has a flat patch of water about 50 to 100sq metres. Of course the wind picked up as I was out of energy and had to do 3 crossings of the boat channel to get home.  Very enjoyable.  Simmer Slalom Baird 62w96L Simmer Race sail 6.3m Pepfoil hybrid 23cm, I was the only one out.

PS.  The weedbank which had formed appears to have drifted away with the high tides, wasnt easy to see as it was choppy and glary, but from memory this is probably the wrong time of year for that to form as we can start to get the higher tides??

When I got to Novara it measured 5.6 - 19.9 knots with and average of 13 so decided to sit in the car and watch some porn (PVB Primby vid from 2018?).

Wind appeared to have filled in so went out.

A lot of west in it tonight so a bit wierd, some big lulls with next to nothing, fell in obnce when I couldn't unhook quick enough when standing up.

Some fun sends, peak naughty on an east west run starting out in waist high which had an "oh mummy" moment when I sent it into that.

Lot of fun, feel like it was a work out, Back to reality tomorow.

Great catching up with Pepe in his lab after.

Joined Flex at the hook, and Hammer a bit later.

Testing the rotating canard idea, Flex seemed to be going well, but the comparison blank wasn;t fitting properly, so don't know what we have learned yet. I'm sure Flex will get back to us on that.

I was underdone again, on the 55 and 6.2,

The fact I have to put the 65 on the roof, means I don't bring it if it looks like I can do with out it.

Today it would have been good with the 6.6.

Basil has just donated some epoxy, should I make a 60cm board that fits in the wagon?????????

Coodanup, WA. AU CA SL96 Loft RB 5.6 Pepe Delta 21.5 Sunny. Light breeze on a lumpy tide with breeze building late in the afternoon. I sailed earlier in the afternoon...Undercooked so I decided to wait until the beeze picked up. Came in and stood around chatting to Gloria, Rob one and two .The Shroom,  B.B.F.Bazil and Ian. After bringing closure to a bewildering number of anecdotes I realised my audience had fled. I decided that the wind had picked up enough to try again, but on seeing that all the sailors had also departed the water I decided to call it. An enjoyable social afternoonLaughing

The hook was a good launch spot, but we couldn't figure out if we could park on the road, closer to the launch with nice green grass for rigging, so we parked in the unfeced bit and had a longer walk.

How far was the walk out at Nairns?
