patchy 5- 17kts SW- SSW Valentine, NSW, AU

 7.5m Turbo- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy

 then 7.2m Moto - WT57 ( 90ltres) - 28cms WT weedy then

7.2m - WT64 - 35csm

Not bad for a SW but very lumpy at first. The big kit was a good fit as I was planing most of the time but it was too lumpy for the big board and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack as I was working so hard.

The gusts were getting stronger and after 30mins odd I came in and changed to the 7.2m - 90.  Effortless in the gusts but there weren't enough of them and it was hardwork in the lulls.

Eventually went back to the big board but by then it was dying and I could have used the 7.5m again. The yacht races were chopping it up too.

After falling in on a gybe , struggling to uphaul in the lumpy light wind, and ingesting half the lake, I decided it was time to call it quits. Undecided

Felt like a gumby gybing heavy footed in all the wrong places. I'm going to have to concentrate on my weight distribution as I gybe. The light wind and lumpy chop didn't help..

Still it was sunny and nice to get a decent workout with some nice runs.

Heaps of wings and one windfoiler at the end. zzz

I felt old and unfit today. Undecided

Good! For a moment.
First out and got some flat runs making it worth taking the big board out. Followed a guy for one fabulous run down the bank then that was that, no more.
East beast rainy squall gusts hit and i got catapult kinda splattered heading home in chop but all good no harm done.
