Ant-man (14202km):
141 days ago Coal Point, NSW, AU 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow on ali mast and fuse. I can now say with confidence that there is a significsant difference in performance between an aluminium mast and fuse compared to a carbon equivalent. Felt sloppy, slow and unresponsive. Still good to get out on the wateron a hot day. Heaps out, fins and foils

Crazy arvo wind. PROMISES...PROMISES and then nothing
.
Well, it did come in but quite late. However, it made up for it catching me out with a bit too big sail. Anyway, l had a short but exciting sail/foil with Barry Leanne, Mick, John, Brice and James.

Mick Saunders (12721km):
141 days ago Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE 12-18 knots . Just right for the first half of the sail. The wind built and became too strong for my setup. Baz Ian James Bryce Bear and Tibor.

Croanster (1143km):
141 days ago Marmong Point, NSW, AU. Futura and 7.8 overdrive was about 0.8 meters too much. Fantastic arvo especially considering half hour previous to going out there was 4 knots of nothing!

Nice sail till I fell and buggered my arm. Casl82, 5.8, 25. Weedy. No flat water at all, too deep.

141 days ago Patchy 15-18kts then 18 - 24kts + NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - 0.49m so no flatwater
6.5m Turbo - Rs2 - 22cms Atomic nuclear weedy
then RS1 (80ltres) - 20cms Atomic
Sailed 3hrs 13mins ..zzz
I went out too early and wore myself out in the light patchy stuff.
The 112ltre would have been easier. Good go on the 90ltre as it picked up.
Got all my gybes but no great ones as it was too patchy and choppy.
Went in for a choccie bar and got the 80ltre. Too tired to rerig so just held onto the 6.5m. Overdone going upwind but just luffed it. I wasn't sure the 20cm would hold it going upwind.
No gybes with the 80 as I was too tired. Some well powered runs but like LG last year - 15cms chop and 30cms rollers. A few bum clench rides in but only got 26.9kts as too choppy in 30cms rollers.
Plenty out. Dave , Mick H and I then Bruce and Mike then Fergo, Matt and lots of others..

140 days ago 1 categories Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Success on new-to-me sail Loft Blade 5.6. It went well in light wind earlier and stronger wind later. patrik f-race 120, 23 pepe. It became a bit bouncy later unfortunately and i went on the carve 99 with 23 pepe. Didn’t feel great on that.
The sail felt great in gybes. Thanks snellys used sail sales. Boombusters old sail.

15+ at times E/N/E , Fin time today. Very enjoyable/short sail , a bit hard on the body/fitness after many months off the water.
Isonic 117 , 7 m Switchblade , 41 Hurricane fin. Created some dust for Bryce to eat today. Say thanks Glenn .
