sboardcrazy (26363km):  5 - 10kts few puffs 10-13kts Sw- SSW Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.43m 7.5m Turbo- RS4 ( 1111ltres) - 24cms FF Should have gone out when I 1st got there..I was reading 13-14kt gusts from the shore. Procrastinated not knowing whether to rig for the forecast ( pick up) or what was there. By the time I got out there was only a few puffs to get in the front strap. Pity as there was heaps of flatwater. FF was a bit thick and draggy in the weed and on the bottom at times so I kept up in deeper water as much as I could. I don't point very well on that board subplaning. Good workout . My port side gybes were RS.. good conditions to figure out what I was doing wrong . I hate slippery beachstarting with muddy feet. Oh well , it's all practise and I got to try out my new fleecelined rashie which worked well. Looks like a wind drought for a while..

Andrew Haigh (51871km):  Coal Point, NSW, AU SW 5-16 kts JP 175, SB 800.115.255 and 8.0 Race Waited all day for the forecast wind. At 4pm decided it was now or never. Rigged all the big stuff. Got out there and it got stronger and stronger. Nice sunset and rainbows. Unfortunately I had left the dogs dinner outside and it was blown all over the yard. Lucky I don't have a dog.
