What a way to enjoy the shortest day of the year. Conditions looked epic when I arrived. Straight away rigged the 5.0 Koncept paired with the Mistral 73 and tws25. Once I got to the field of dreams getting planing was a bit fickle and there was a mass exodus. Followed Ant down the run for my fastest of the day before he left. Wind was a bit up and down after that with a dropping tide making it tricky to get on the plane in the shallows. Guessing the early birds picked the best of it as I could have done with a bigger sail but, I had some fantastic moments sailing into a double rainbow that looked to be just a hundred meters ahead. Headed for home when the rain set in as the wind was getting a bit fickle.
