Very patchy 5 - 10kts SSW then one run 5-12kts plus SSE Valentine, NSW, AU

 7.5m Turbo- 125ltre tabou Bullit - 38cms Tectonics weedy

My 1st sail on the lake since March. It looked ok as I rigged but died as soon as a winger and I hit the water.

Budgy has made me soft. I love the long runs on LM..don't like the gybing though..UndecidedWink

I needed a nice easy intro although it wasn't easy balancing in washing machine cruiser wash in 5kts ..

Came in for a rest and it had turned more SSE and filled in. 1 run and got enough to get going twice. It's easier to gybe in the slop with a bit of wind too..Undecided

Of course it came in nicely once I'd derigged.

Nice to catch up with Luke and talk to a few wingers.

A bit more wind next time will be nice. The lake water temperature wasn't too bad.

I was going to have a wing or at least practise on the shore but the wind was too light and dodgy.

Coal Point, NSW, AU

Southerly 6-12 kts

Stingray 115, Flow 1500, Naish 5.8

Just Greg and I, then a visit from Hugh. Looked good whilst rigging, but dropped away badly once we go out.

Marmong Point, NSW,AU.

Baz, Mick and I had the same problem with fading wind at Marmong so I came in and rigged my 8m Cheetah. Went back out and by then the wind was up to 12 knots and I wished I still had the 5.5 up.

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Wing attempt. No way that thing is going in light wind. Standing the whole time, all kinds of shenanigins trying to pump, i'm sure i looked like a wounded pelican.

There were small storm cells popping up and killing it. Bit of rain.

Tried to foil at coalie today. Horrendous day.  Looked great while rigging.  Got out there and way underdone.  Not even one flight . Sore arms from pumping like an idiot . Ah well can't get any worse I guess . Warp 6.9 . F4 620

It was good to catch up on Friday Sue and I see you had an excellent session at Budgy on Saturday. I need to stop buying equipment and invest in a GPS watch so I can contribute soon. Cheers Luke
