Well that was short and sweet!!!!

Had a nice coffee @ Feeding The Soul, (thanks Gloria), with Waricle, Maree and Gloria.

Then headed to Wamba St, to not very much wind. Maree, said the was enough for here to get going, so well all rigged in case we could as well.

Maree went out just as the wind started to pick up, by thew time she'd walked to sailable depth, (yes it was shallow!). She was planning. Getting some very nice long runs in.

We followed. I had a very nice gust on the inside section, to get that 28, but then wind started to die, only managed 15 kts on the return trip. The wind stopped, waited around for ages, but didn't come back. Not even enough to get back on the board! so I had a 337m walk of shame.

Worst thing today, seems I left my custom downhaul winch behind yesterday, no sign of it anywhere, so some how I'm going to have to make another, reminds me of McArthur Park. But maybe I can work out another recipe.

Best thing today, the boots I ordered that where US 7s instead of Aus 7s, fit Gloria, so now I can get another pair that should actually fit.

I was just nice to be there with Barry, Peter, Gloria and Maree. Even if they did get a 2nd session after I'd come in exhausted after that weed trudge.
