Coodanup, WA, AU Made the wrong call regarding wind today but its not often you get your own band playing at the foreshore at rigup location so headed to Coods to check out Hardie's band.   Wind was perfect for the big gear on arrival and because forecast increasing went out on the smaller board instead of the aircraft carrier.   Big of a walk through the crabs due to the low tide but acres of glass made it worth it.   First few runs were the best then wind dropped out and chugged about waiting for something to happen.  Eventually another sail came out down Nairns end so figured they knew something I didn't (or they were another sucker) so chugged about some more...was pleasant enough but another 2 knots and would have been bliss.  Nothing happened so eventually spat the dummy and called it.  As soon as I got in another sailor and the wind whisperer Boz went out...no doubt wind picked up and smashed me...meanwhile at the local the wind was cranking of course.  Most present were sensible and were there to enjoy the band and the sun.   Thanks for organising the gig Joe..   iSonic97, SvT8.6, FF22(18)
