Decrepit (56306km): ![]() Another fantastic fangy's day. But my head unit is playing up producing muliple files so I've used the boom unit. I also noticed the head unit cut Thursday's file short, so I may edit that if there's a big difference. Again too many crew to mention, lowish tide, wind a bit variable, plenty of flat. The NM run still was a bit too choppy for me at the end of the run, speed dropped of there. Had to have a long rest after that run. Had a bit more downhaul today, not sure if that helped.

Elmo (32418km): ![]() Tabou Manta 71, NP RSR Evo-XV 7.4m, Elmo SS 42cm & 37.5cm After a week of being sidelined with issues resulting from the rapid growth of a third man boob, yesterday I was able to express half a Philladelpia tub of brown cottage cheese, the breast pump may never be the same again but being able to drop a couple of cup sizes was a great relief. The added bonus of this is I now have half a tub of brown cottage cheese stored in a Philadelphia tub which I shall take to work next week for our resident fridge bandit, leaving it in the fridge with a sign on saying, "if it's not yours, don't take it". We should be able to find out who it is fairly quickly. There must have beena Manscaping expo on somewhere as there where no wingers, which was a crying shame as I like having them around as they give me a false sense of security secretary, superiority being the only one out there with some watersports credibility (in my head anyway). Instead we had a swarm (5) of teabaggers, this didn't cause much of an issue as they are never allowed to sail out further than their Mums can see them, fortunately Mum was having trouble with her walking frame an kept toppling over, I think she must have been a wee bit short sighted and deaf, as the teabaggers kept shoutin "look at me Mum" and she kept ignoring them and trying to toddle off in embarrasment.
Any Hoo, back to reality (or some vague semblance thereof).
My session, Rigged the 7.4m as the breeze was a bit up and down. It turns out that the wind was enough to be well powered up in the lulls and made me a diamond from coal manufacturing facility in the gusts. First run out to the chanel marker, the board was a wee bit lively there and back, a few tweeks later and a reload of coal up the freckle and we were off again, this time out past the platform. It was still quite lively with the side benefit I am now able to market cheap industrial diamonds, well I could if only I could get rid of the smell. So back to base thought I'd go the smaller fin, back out and another run out to the platform, still exciting but only able to grind the coal this time, oh well, gotta work for another 46 days. It's all a bit embarrasing really.
All characters appearing in this post are entirely fictitious, at best wildy inaccurate and fragments of my twisted imaginations. Any resemblance to real persons, living, dead or imaginary depicting actual events is purely coincidental and most likely the result of overdosing on Wizz fizz. My third manboob is real 46.04.03

fangy (23274km): ![]() Last post as I am still recovering from Elmo’s lumpy cheese saga.
Day Four ,and the go-go juice tank is empty. Time for the next FrankenFangy fin. This one is printed out of TPU. The fin is filled with epoxy with eucalyptus dowels of varying sizes. The effect a stiff fin at the centre of lift and leading edge, but the skin has some ‘give’. It feels like a what I imagine a dorsal fin on a shark or dolphin might feel like. The trailing edge is quite flexible, more so than yesterday’s effort. In use, it was up to the task like ‘Fox’ is to 'News'. A complete non-starter versus the overpowered Avalon7.0. I didn’t really have the energy to do anything other than sit in the harness, so I changed up to the biggest fin in my inventory. I tried to coax a few more k’s out my carcass by sitting back and letting the fin do all the work despite more drag than Priscilla ever unloaded. Another fail. Just too much power and an entire season of WrestleMania with my setup was the result. Sadly but sensibly, my brain conceded defeat to fatigue, despite some fab conditions.
Back in the rigging area, it was splendid. No bullying by BullyBoyFatBasil, and as a result quite the number of punters taking advantage of the reprieve. That’s a Top Ten Fangy result on its own.
