Bruce Healey (25130km):  1 categories  Canton Beach, NSW, AU After my pathetic effort at coalie on Saturday I decided either to toughen up or take up knitting. So I looked at Canton, decided 5.8 and big board was suitable and rigged the 6.8 because thats what real men do... Right?
Turned out well as was lighter than I thought till it kicked in pretty strong and there were bumpy things on the water. Survived a nice tack up into the corner and then a long run staying in the gaps between lumps and ended up way up the other end. Nice reach back to the beach and quit while ahead as really too strong for the big sail. Nice to get wet though the warning signs along the shore about too unhealthy for swimming were a worry, good thing I wasn't swimming.
