Rathies, NSW, AU. 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow. Very dodgy sail in Rathies bay. Big wind shifts and variation in strength. Still fun

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

More like it. Goood NE at the club with Ian and Berry.

Could have hit 20 + knots. Every day looks good this week..

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Patrik 120, KA Race 6.3, 34bpws. Just hiding from the big wind to mow the grass along the beach with no-one around but Robo cam on the beach. I good day for chucking gybes at Robo cam. Such a rare spot to be able to do that I think, have a camera in the wind shadow of the car right on the beach where there is wind.
Keen to push it but feeling a bit sketchy when this quite here. Mega gusty in close but I feel like it would have been out wide too. It was a lot of work. The sail was hard to get going but that's because I was in so close I think. Less outhaul at the end helped with that. She got lively then!
Super happy to take this new sail for a run at Jimmy's. It rigs very easily on Ezzy Hookipa rdm and all seems to be working well on the water.

15-20kts plus ENE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU -level 0.29 m

 6.5m Turbo - RS 2 ( 90ltres) - 22cms Atomic

 Sailed 2- 3.50pm with rests.

I could have been on the 6.2m - 80 in the gusts..Some very strong gusts but all out in the chop. I went higher and further E today and I found some flatwater but couldn't score any decent wind in the flatwater.

It's frustrating having good wind but not being able to get decent speeds due to the chop.Undecided

I wanted gybe practise . It was a bit scary going into them maxed out . By the end I had a few times where the kit was ripped out of my hands as I unhooked to enter.  Luckily it's a lot easier to run after it and catch it than in Lake Macquarie.

Slowly getting my gybes back. Better post flip exits today but still a work in progress.

Just me at 1st, then Mike and Brian. Mick was going out as I packed up.
