sboardcrazy (27035km): ![]() Patchy 10- 19kts ENE - NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 6.5m Turbo - RS4 ( 111ltres) - 21.5cms FF ( cutdown 24). Smiles on dials day.. I thought it would be a waste of time. Got there and 10-15kts on the graphs which are usually a good guide.. dropped to 12kts but it looked more.. Mike had persuaded me to rig the same as yesterday but people were going one minute and floating around the next so i plugged the big board in. I usually use the 90 with the 6.5m but this was perfect! Actually very powered in some of the gusts but the big board was good and I planed through the lulls. Great for practising gybes although most of the time not enough wind to actually fly out on the exit. The FF was thick so good for going upwind and getting going but shallower so ok to go high. I went really high today and got some flatter water although there wasn't enough consisitent wind for good speeds. Mike , Brian , Pete. Greg K , Greg F , JD and a few others. Mick went out after I packed up.
MobZ (7768km): ![]() Jimmy's b each, nsw. Patrik 120, KA koncept 7.5 / Race 6.3, 38 weed / 35cm. After hiding from the big wind yesterday, I was happy to wake up sprinkle some beast mode on my toast and today fort he big the big forecast I was going to take small board and new race sail and send it for speed.
