Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Practicing Alpha's on a small stretch of flat water among the Kitesurf fella's, so was often standing watching them whilst waiting for safe an unconflicted space - Which is OK when you're old knackered as its a good oportunity to get my breath back - Takes all I've got these days to get into a 21 knot Alpha

Carbon Art 78, Loft RB 5.0, Tribal Delta 16    ..then my all time favourite sail started to tear and come part at the foot.

So went in and rigged a 2 camber Point-7 5.8 and put it on my Carbon Art 82, with a Flikka 22 fin

..Then went sailing in the chop up to the outlet, figuring to try for a mile - But ultimately realised I didn't have the steam to go back hammering broad over the chop, and so tried it along the lines instead, which was more or less a straight line towards the squash club, but much too square to be quick
