46 days ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. Skywing 94ltr, FlyII 5.4, hps830. Mobdog's new 15yo step son Lin came out to watch the action, quickly the young lad was with sinking kayak blowing out into the bay, so that was a conundrum. Good assistance ment he and boat survived. The session went on. One visitor had a try windsurfing but not enough juice for him, me and Mobdog the only two enjoying sweet foiling.
Some progress came today, I learnt toe-side tacks. This is because when I was at Munmorah for an average wing session, the winger I met there Dale said toe side tacks are easy. So I thought I'd have a go. Visit worthwhile! It does feel like a nice natural turn.
What a bonus little breeze, wasn't expecting much.

7.5m turbo - RS4 ( 112ltres) - 24cms FF
1st sail in almost 7 weeks after breaking a rib.
Wanted to see how the rib went - tick one slight twinge and I came in soon after
Can I still sail? tick ( to a degree ).
I am so unfit..
Despite bushwalking and cycling everyday to try and maintain fitness nothing gives me the workout of sailing..1hr - av heartrate 158 max 175 bpm zzzz
The drive down was the pits stuck in Sydney traffic returning from the weekend. Lucky sailboarding is so ' awesome" or it wouldn't be worth the stress..
I was the 1 st out . Mike came out about 3/4hr after. It seemed to be picking up as I finished but I wanted some energy left for tomorrow.
Nice. Some nice flat areas and plenty of depth for the 24cm.

Up and down breeze but who's complaining. Slowly getting used to going faster with the smaller wing.
Good rollup with Baz giving commentary.

E-NE 5-12 knots
FMX 176, NP Evo Flight 111, Axis 1099.
Basic errors cost an hour of water time today. Popped a cam off the mast. Came in to re-tension.
Went back out and downhaul let go. Back in to re-tension and secure cleat properly.
Didn't get to ride along with most today only Ian for a short run.
Such a nice day which was close to forecast as they get.
Stayed out to get 20km up. Should be similar conditions tomorrow.
