It's been a good week for southerlies around here, but it was a bit underdone today.

It was still good to be on the water again, including a bit more gybe practice on a sunny Autumn afternoon.

golden beach, qld. 120, 7.5, 40cm at golden beach in the bay this was sweet about 10am. All the wingers were sitting around waiting, I was frothing thinking I could see wind, then I was very worried I’d got it wrong, but no, it was sweet. I moved around to Military Jetty for a go with 6.3 kar later, 35cm fin. Then 40cm as it was so up and down. Later it came in hard, have a squirt bit tail walking. Too buggered to change boards but that’s what was needed. I tried getting into the channel from GB earlier, and from MJ I still couldn’t do it, super deep down wind and current. Bit disappointed I didn’t get to do that as it sounded good in there. I was hoping to keep going here all week but the play kicked my ass a bit so I think I’ll go Noosa lakes now. Not only Grassy but his mate Peter smoking me on wings again. Good to see Sue and Glynn at GB, sail with moz and another fella later.
