Marmong Point, NSW, AU. 7.8, Isonic. Not the 20 odd that was forecast but was enough for some fun with my big sail.

Burrum Heads, qld. CA92, Ezzy Lion 6.5, 32. Super sweet to get out for a little window of sliding the bank on social Saturday, post event. Light wind. Rainbow kissed the bank once all sailors off the water. I had a ray jump next to me on the way out. That was nice.

Had a quick sail after the rain. Reasonably steady 12-15+ knots.

Gave the Windfest prize board a go. Thanks again WindWanderers and Board Crazy.

Duotone Blast 145 , 7m switchblade,  Hurricane 41.

Board is very nice , comfortable and pretty fast. Happy days.

10-17kts + NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.25m

 7.5m Turbo - RS4 ( 111ltres) - 24cms FF

Acres of snotweed flats. Not much clear water. A bit scary going through it although it didn't snatch. You could feel the drag . I felt fast but for ages couldn't get more than 23.5kts.

Mike found a clear short channel and just sailed that.

I risked the weed which was fun although draggy . The run below the weedbed was unreal..felt a bit like a Burrum run..Tongue out It was pretty broad . powered enough to be fun but not enough for speed.

2 sec was on the way in. It just started to kick in as I came in. Not really enough wind for decent gybes. Still not bad for a NE in May!

It would be great to have more wind so you could use a smaller board and thinner fin. The FF ended up with a moustache which is unusual.

Pete went out for a few runs but came in saying the weedbergs were too extensive. I understood why when I went out. Undecided

Just Mike and I. Greg F went out as I came in.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

ENE 5-14 knots FMX 176, NP 6.6m Evo Flight 3, Axis 799.

Went with small sail and small foil expecting stronger gusts. Not as strong as predicted but when the wind was there it was the ideal combination.

PB on the 5x10 and second best 2 second and Nm. First time over 20 knots at Marmong. Best effort on salt water.

Very pleasing considering the waves gusts and wind shifts and I was just trying to keep up with everyone else.

Off to the fresh water next weekend to test out the Toy Hauler and the Diesel heater.

Sounds good Kev. Nice work.
Ian on his big new bus must have got one of those lucky gusts. I didnt see any of them on my little speed stick. Surprised
