Walchansee, Germany. Virus 85, 5.4, HPS 830. After having a little moan yesterday about it being average, today Huey had me drawing smiley faces all over the joint. On land is tourist kaos, out there is a blue dream. Foiling in toward empty shores the water just lights up over white rock and the wind keeps bending. Didn't think I'd get out today as we were meeting some friends at the southern shore and no one launches there due to limited wind and straight onshore. Also I'm not so sure it is permitted to launch from there. Anyway I paddled straight out for a bit with low expectations and than bam, launched on an adventure. Once off tourist beach I was all alone, then up through the field of windsurfers, then wingers, then a catamaran race fleet. Pushing the mind to watch for gusts and keep on foil and make the most of this session. Very happy with that one.
