Dawn patrol with Dan hoping the wind would hang around, bank and angle was perfect but the wind shut down after one run :( walked out and when got back to the van the wind swung and picked up for a few powerd up runs on the outside. Powerd by the 48 PAT,87 ISO,5.6 P7,20,25 ws.

Oops, 2nd try at upload. For some reason when I went through GPS Speedreader it put the date stamp as 29th June. Tried through KA72 and worked for today. Thanks for the tipoff Jim!

Well and truly skunked today. After being enticed by Antman to do the "dawn patrol" at Coods, we both stood around for several hours in the sludge pond, waiting in vain for the wind to arrive. It never happened so gave up and did the walk of shame back to the carpark. Just when we were about to derig, wind arrived and switched boards to something floatier and had a few nice runs. Feeling very knackered at the end when Flex turned up for a look.

Melville- frontal SSW dregs.

Was planning on a coods dawn patrol but had to do the school run. When that was all done ~9am it was gone. Thought it might come back later, so took the van to work. Got stuck when the wind did come back, made it to Melville just b4 3pm and it was looking OK out the back- gusting to low-mid 20s!. Pulled out the 7m... then decided not to be silly and rigged for power-

Went mega gusty as soon as I hit the water. Floated out to the sand bar. Found a few small puffs but nothing like earlier and it continued to fade away. Darryl came out a bit after me and caught the dregs of the dregs. Small rain shower came through but not much wind with it, so back to the beach quick expecting a switch-off. Perfect rainbow was pretty cool. Daz also made it back in and like clockwork it completely shut down.

Was fun to get out on the big gear again. A sail is a sail.
