Fun session with Boz and Jim. One good squall came through for some power before shutting down and glass off leaving Boz and I in the middle of the bay for a long slog back, worth it for the one squall :) powered by the 7.0 Evo,112 M,22 Delta.

Point Grey, WA, AU. Was slow to realise there was wind but looked like a repeat of a week or so ago. Sunny, 16-18 knots...looked perfect so headed down. Arrived thinking might find the Dangermouse in action but instead was greeted by the Bozinator and Antman having a jolly chug fest in the rain. Since not much action happening chose to perform a leeway bifurication experiment which was the other reason for the trip. Once this was complete the others were still chugging about so prepared the aircraft carrier. Boz and Ant gave up the chugging and switched to chatting. After some time I figured there was enough breeze so went out...I was wrong. Managed 8 knots with a lot of flapping so back in for more chatting. The rain increased.
Suddenly there appeared a wind line so went straight out to catch it. Was good at first but building quickly and managed to score the brief moment before the water chopped up. Soon was well over powered so turned around in order to switch to at least a smaller board. By the time I got back I was in full poo stance. The wind was still increasing so thought would be far more sensible to change sail as well. But by the time I'd opened the van the wind dropped to zero. Took a look at Ant and Boz, wish I'd taken a photo as was quite sureal, total glass off for 1 km in front of me but they were riding the last of the wind, bearing away at over 30knts probably 2km distant.
Waited for something to happen, checked the dials, but wind had dropped to 1knt everywhere. The others were faced with a long walk back so decided to redo the bifurication experiment whilst waiting for them to return. This, it turned out was also pointless as the annemometer was reading 0 to 0.3m/s.
Looks like Antman got the sun and the wind and made the most of the few minutes of real wind. iSonic117, SvT8.6, TWS33
