5-15kts few patches 15/18kts WNW Peely 0.28-0.30m Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 7.5m Turbo - RS4 ( 111ltres) - 21.5cms FF ( cutdown 24cm). Pleasant enough. I didn't bear off much as I wasn't sure of the depth. Looks like I might have been ok. 1 powered bearaway for the 2 sec. I hit something twice today. A submerged branch ? The 1st time was pretty hard but I kept going. Luckily both times I was chugging upwind. To the east of the pole.. On and off the plane. Just Mobsy and I then Mike later. Mobsy looked like he was having fun after I packed up. The FF has a gap at the front and is getting weed mo's.. Have to fix it. Love my newly regripped board.. Nice to be able to stand on the deck and be ok rather than have to get in the straps to early to avoid slipping off. I was going to give the 107ltre McKee a go but didn't have suitable fin screws.
