10-19kts NE 0.27/8m Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Sailed 2- 3.45pm with an occasional short break.

 6.5m Turbo - CA95 - 20cms Atomic

I rigged the 7.2m moto and RS4 and the 6.5m - 95ltre aiming to use the big gear and then come in and change to the smaller gear.

1st use of the repaired 6.5m. Sets nicely but the leech was fluttering really badly going upwind on starboard tack? On a yacht you've got e leech line but I'm not sure what can be done with a windsurfing sail?

Seemed enough for the small combo so used that. Could have used the 7.2m for bearaways but the 6.5m was good for a gybe refresher.

 Buggered after the 1st run..Undecided

Still tired after Jimmies and haven't had a decent nights sleep in a week so I'm a bit run down. zz

1st one out. Got the alpha early on. Got one decent gust for the 2 sec but couldn't grab another strong one.

Couldn't line up decent wind for any gybe exits..fun trying.

Mike , Bruce and JD came out after an hr or so then Greg F and Mick.

A young swiss fella was singing out in the front yard not long after breakfast when he saw kit all over the camp. He had no gear and said he'd windsurfed before here and WA so i told him come down for a go. I had wing sesh then gave it to him and went windsurfing after lunch.
This board is interesting. First try today. Gott around the track no worries. Thinking gybes will be good and since mobdog got his best speed here so far on it maybe i can too.
