I have being dying for a SW to have a sail at the mouth. I just love it here. For the first hour or so, the wind was southerly, which made it ideal for some longer runs down to the fishing shack. I set in for an hour attempt, although the wind wasn't particularly strong. The water was pretty clear, enough at least to spot the sandbars, which was made much easier once the sun came out. It is always fun racing the few tinnies and the Spirit of the Coorong. I only had one seal for company, normally I am dodging 30 of them. Today was a nice taste again of how much fun it is here. Looking forward now to some stronger SW here. Would definitely have been even more fun if other sailors were here.
