Waves, Cape Hatteras, NC. First time since March on slalom gear, so quite exciting in the bumps. Switched to the easy gear (freestyle board and sail with big fin) in the afternoon, much more relaxing, more fun, and just half a knot slower. Had to wait almost 2 weeks for the road onto the island to re-open after being washed out by a weeklong nor'easter for the second time in 2 months.
