5380 days ago 2 categories   Wow, what a second day in Karin, wild bura wind 25-45 kts for 3 and half hours (I measured 41 onshore  ), without holes, then 1 and half hour around 20 kts with some holes...
Battleing with gusts, sailing through flying seaspray, over hard steep chop, smiling with friends, awesome.... But it is soooo hard to make a good speed with unstable wave sail. When strong gust hit it just blows away my trim, but it was really great...
If there were just a few more days in a year like this one  ....

Started early in the morning with strong gusts up to 40 kts. Sailed with RRD FSW 102 + 28CM freestyle fin + NS Voodoo 4.5. Took some time to get use to gusts and spray and enentually managed to hit several gusts downwin and take it over 30....
Afterwards the wind dropped 25kts, gusts to 30+ so used my iSonic 111 + 38cm slalom fin + NS Warp 6.8.
Man this sail is perfect. I took it over 30 again, couldn't beleive it. I thought bigger board and 38cm fin will make me go slower but :)
Anyway it was a lot of fun sailing with you guys!

Max speed done on iSonic Speed W53 and NP Slalom 5,5. This is second time I have ride that board, and man, first half an hour it was strugle! Latter, I dig it up and shame that wind dropped... Otherwise, who knows what numbers would be here! :-)
Good blasting latter on iSonic 94 and finaly on iSonic 111 with NP Slalom 7,0...
It was great to sail with Marin and Jan! Also, some locals from Zadar came - all in all, great day in Karin!
