Nice cruisy seabreeze at Melville. Got on the water about 5:15 and cruised around looking for gusts. Not many but enough to get to 35 on one run across the sandbar. Then headed up to wallyworld since the tide was up and I hadnt been for a while. Porka was there having a good time. I got a couple of nice little gusts to get a 37 and a string of 36s (heading back on starboard toward peli pt). Good fun. 7.8m KA37 CA SP60. Was having too much fun to sail to Peli for slalom.

Peli Point racing. Missed the first two heats and with wind fading rigged 7.7 CR and IS122 and Talon 40. Good combo in the gusty, fading wind and an 8.5 would have been better. Still, great fun and very pleased with a best heat result of 5th in a very classy field. Thanks to Ian and Co again for organising.

Peli racing could say practise for sat south beach slalom but do not think today would prepare you in any for what forcast is suggesting!
