Today we arrived at 8 am at La Franqui. From the forecast this should be the less windiest day of our 3 days trip but when we arrived we measured on the beach already a tramontana with 60 knots gust. This looked promising for sunday and monday;-) The storm of last week made a mess of the nice straight course, but on this long beach there must be somewere a nice speed strip.I rigged my 5,1, Ben his 5,5 to check the course, Hans and Wouter decided to watch us firts, very smart. It was impossible to sail normally and we decided to find another spot with less wind and a straight course. In Gruissan the wind was much less, but after checking the wind report for Leucate we just left La Franqui a little bit to early (12am). At the end it was a nice sunny afternoon in Gruissan, but for these speeds we didn't drive all the way to south of France.

arrived in the morning in la franqui but was super windy and the beach looked destroyed we did however tried to sail but was not possible with the sand banks and the strong wind. $0So we dicided to check in to our hotel F1 and go to gruissan to see if it looked better there but wind dropped a lot so we sailed 6.2 sails and never really powered , tried some fins to see what was best for the square course .$0
