First sail in a few weeks. I rigged the hellcat 6.2 and rode teh Starboard GO for most of the sail, and then changed to the FSW92 for about 20kms at the end for some speed, but never really got any nice powered up runs. I concentrated on going NM and 1 hour with the GO, and did OK. Did the first 45kms pretty quick on the GO. Unfortuantely I found the GPS somhow turned off mid session, so missed a few ks, but I think I noticed quick.

Cheers,

Adrian

Misjudged the wind and went out on too small a gear, then broke my harness and only managed half a session. Cry

Well done on the PBs Adrian. Great results all round too!

Bugger that I couldn't get down there for a sail on Saturday. Good luck luck with everything.

Great PB's Adrian. I keep seeing you out there on your orange FSW, but haven't caught up for a chat on the beach - you're too busy getting PB's each session!

Yeah I see you out there too Michael, and have waved a few times... but you never stop mate!! :) You are the everready bunny of windsurfing!! My PB for distance is your average!! I will try to catch you on the beach sometime!! I might try and keep up with you sailing... I like going out for a long distance sail myself when I have the time. Would love to do a 200km sail one day if conditions permit.

Cheers,

Adrian

Good one Adrian. I will post mine soon promise.

I understimated the wind for the session and broke my own rule (ie. if in doubt go big). I rigged my 6.7m and 90L board, so wasn't really powered, the 7.8m would have been perfect..the water was nice and smooth!

Just as the wind started to come up my harness hook broke. At this point i was glad i didn't have the 7.8m as it was a long ride painful ride home without a harness. So needless to say I didn't get many good runs for the day!
