GPS Team Challenge - Swan River Mob (WA, Australia)

Went to Pt Walter when I saw the trees moving hoping for some bullets. When I got there it was gusting to 25kts and I could see Mark well powered on his 7.0m. So I rigged the small gear- desperate for some runs on it. 5.5m N42 and a 21cm fin. By the time I finished rigging the wind was already backing off and getting more gusty. Did a few frustrated runs on the small gear barely planing before giving up and rigging up the 7.0m on the nude 91 and 25cm fin. Got a few short puffs on that but it made up for the frustration of earlier on. All up a nice but tricky sail. Fastest peak was near the jetty. NM with 2 gybes in it.

short time on the ca44 but wasnt windy enough for it...

thats my 2nd faster nm and fastest on the swan! you'd think i could have at least got a 30, but no its only $29.95, but wait, there's more. oh whats that? theres no more?!?!

oh crap sorry... didnt realise I was causing you trouble- did I really make you fall in? Just trying to get upwind in that difficult gusty wind at Pt Walter and its a pretty narrow sailing lane. I guess even when you are 10m away from someone it affects the wind a bit. Will try to steer clear in future.
