Early start and on the water by 7:30. Gusty, up and down, but there were some good runs to be had.

Organised to meet with MT at Illawarra. Left home at 7, arrived at 9 to see Mike way down near Windang and no wind at the launch. Sat in the sun waiting, waiting. Caught up with Bushy and met Keef & Phil. Had a chinwag about fins, etc. Wind slowly picked up so out on the big gear and it was off and on.

Had some fun runs trying to figure the place out. Very shallow with chop at the north end and some nice flattish water in the middle. Still pretty wary of running aground with my knee but tried some different angles and had a ball!!!! Had to be back in Sydney so packed up early as the wind was gusty.

Nowhere near as cold as I thought and a nice spot to sail from. Great bunch of blokes too!!

Had 3 splats in the shallows as my fin (25cm) was hitting. Note to self, make a smaller one. New sail felt unreal. Got the distance wrong on my Nm, bugger!
