Victoria Point, QLD, AU

JP Xcite 110L 6.5 sail and 35 fin.

Poor conditions to start with but improved a bit.  Enjoyed the sail but poor GPS results.

I was accused today of being aggressive & competitive I don't know why as & was not even trying Ha Ha.

Really good wind today nicely lit up & got stronger tide was good but got choppy towards the end.

After yesterday I wasn't going to bother as I was sore from pumping all day but I got ph calls from Vando & Bisek to come down its so nice to be loved.

Good sail with Glynn and Bisek.

Started off very patchy at first but filled in towards the end.

Surprisingly good wind today but rigged too small as usual. Still managed to keep on the plane most of the time out of the gybes.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU

Great sail with glynn & Vando, I rigged the 6.2 but changed my mind and rigged the Evo.4 7.0, this was the best choice as the wind came in and was nicely powered up.

Used the BP 32.5 cm on the IS97 but it was hard work to come back to shore, changed to a select 35cm big difference but a bit to big and up right rake. Managed to get over 30 knts with the 7.0 m but it is hard work and you need to keep focussed to control the board. This was a good practise session for me to test the combo.

Happy with the results.......

Cheers B

Cool

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU.Light & gusty 10-15kts E-SE came in after lunch, conned Greg into coming out. Gloomy day with cloud cover & smoke haze but nice to out of the scorching sun for a change, frustrated not to get to 30 being so close. AHD112,select37S1,switchblade7.8.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Warp 6.8 and a Viper fin 35cm. May be I should have stayed a bit longer, but when I looked at the GPS I saw only 22 to 23 knots so I thought every time I try in these rough conditions that seems to my limit and gave up. I could have practised my gybe a bit more and got the hour, cause Brad was going out and the wind was good. The fellow mobsters all came in when I went out. They got the tide right and the flatter water. One day I will get flat water too! I wish I had taken my 90L Skate and the 5.4 Daytona. They would have been perfect for these conditions. Instead I had the Falcon 111 and the 8.3 and 7.5 expecting little wind. It should be good Fryday.
