iS110, 7.8RBlade, 38 CL SL2 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 14-19kn

First time using the CL Sl2 and WOW is all I can say about this fin.  Tried very hard to get it to spin out but it was rock solid pointing hard and incredibly slippery going broad.  Very happy with my numbers on this combo as wind was very on off.  3 weeks without a sail was telling in the end with arm pump towards the last 10 minutes.  A great sail none the less.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU

A quick blast in the afternoon. Knowing our season down here is coming to a close you have to get out when you can.

Usual gear used: 6.4m Koncept, 100L JP SuperX.

In the wind.. . . . .

Nice one mate! The 33 might be too big for your 90 if the 38 was solid in the 110, you better send it to me to look after it for you.Money mouth

Thanks guys - it was nice to get out in some decent wind (any for that matter).

Kel,

I was getting excited just thinking about using the 33 in the iS90 whilst sailing today - if it goes half as good as the 38 I'll be one happy sausage!

PS - photo of the board finished too

Bob,

It's Kel's old bashed up CA50 - he kindly gave it to me so I repaired all the holes his head made in it and a pretty bad crushed rail that I think he did when he knocked himself out at Burrum a couple years ago.  Probably went a bit overboard but I've always wanted to do a full restoration (as opposed to making one from scratch) and this posed a perfect opportunity i.e. no wind Wink

How you feeling too?

Aesthetics and function. What else would you expect from an architect? Nice work.

I hope it matches your wetsuit.

Can't be me Franga, my centreboard is slightly bigger than that....going by the looks of it though and having just read your post this doesn't happen to be you sailing Fangy's with Decrepit and Hardie the other day it could be someone from the Tassie Speed seekers  Wink
