Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Gusty light S up till 10.30, then swung to SE 12-15 till 12, then picked up again for 1hr to 15-18 & about 1pm slowly started easing back again so by 2pm unplaneable so we all came in for lunch. 3pm started to blow again so Greg, Anne & I went out again, by 4pm good solid 20kts, lasted till 4.30 struggling to control 7.8 on Isonic117/43. To late to change kit, 7mtr on Futura 101 would have sweet by then.

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU  Not much wind when Greg and I arrived at the lake so rigged the big gear 7.5 and 132 ahd. The wind came up and had a good sail for an hour or so. Wind continued to strengthen so I went in for lunch and to change down to the 6.6 and 113 falcon unfortunately the wind fizzled out and so I came in in disgust. After an hour on the beach the wind started to pick up again. Unfortunately I had derigged the 7.5 so I went out with the 6.6 and 132 ahd 38 c3 sting. The wind continued to strengthen until the board was way too big for the conditions and I had to flatten the 6.6. Annoyingly the wind was still blowing while we were packing up

Queens Beach, QLD, AU Another great day with Haggar and Ragner. Used the Neil Pryde Fusion 7.2 ( awesome sail ) and the Starboard Futura 111 ( Fantastic board ). THose starboard Futuras excel in light wind. THe Fin for today's marvelous effort was a Black Project 42.5. It was a day of fun and goodness.....

Queens Beach, QLD, AU

Nice SE'ly sailing at Queens with the other two ratbags. A bit light at first but the wind built as the afternoon went on allowing me to change down to the medium gear. So great to be back on my favourite board and sail. The Ezzy Cheetah 6.5 seems to have the power of magic unicorn sparkles. Easy to handle, soft feeling and quick - cams are no longer needed for fun performance sailing. The Exocet cross 104 is awesome in the turns, comfortable, easy handling and dependable in the rough stuff. Must be the best board ever made. I'll keep it forever.

Exo Scross 116, Cheetah 7.5, BP 42.5

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU  Fun day for the WindWanderers season opening.  6.6 HSM, and big board should have used the 7.3 as was not very windy when I went out and pretty chilly. Thanks Darryl for the loan of the mast.  Sounds like we had the same conditions at Lake C as Lake W

9999kms must be a lucky number. If I'd known that was going to happen I would have taken another hairy trip across the lake on the big board to make it 10001.
