| Windxtasy (13853km): Melville Beach, WA, AU 7.5K iS111, 23 pepeweedy Melville and Safety Bay were showing the same reading at 3PM when I left home, and feeling uninspired about sailing on my own again I decided to stay local. Then SB kicked didn't it? I should have taken my own advice and gone there. It was good to have some friends to talk to though. More gybe practice. The 7.5 added an extra level of difficulty, and I was underfinned and kept spinning out when attempting to go upwind. That fin works well with the 6.4 but not with the 7.5. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Ricey (11089km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Lovely flat water, but a bit shallow over the sand bank and a few weed berges nearly tipped me off, but not quite - weedy 34, Xfire 114 and Turbo 7.5m. Glut med muscles seem to be holding up - but maybe I shouldn't say that. Anita turned up later but missed much of the breeze. | ||||||||||||||||||
