Full Bogan (42931km): Good to catch up with all. Had fun till hit big carp. Ripped the back clew of my 7m blade clean off. Bent the crap out of my harness hook and also put a small hole in fin box from the fin:-( crashing is part of sailing I guess) cheers for taking the sail in goeff.
Retired Bogan (6747km): Expected cruisey 12-15 k day, wow 20-25 when I got there. Choppy as hell rigged 4.8 NP on Exercet 58. Good combo but pretty rough. Good number of guys turned up including the usual crew. Thanks PJ for the last run
PJ (24612km): 08-11-14 Lake George-SW 14-24 knots-Exocet S3-Loft Blade 5.6m-Techart 28cm carbon weed Many people turned up for what turned out to be an way under-forecasted wind prediction. Bloody fantastic!! Water state way choppy and nothing on offer for a cruisy day. I enjoyed 5.6 and was surprised that 28cm Techart weedy was able to generate sufficient lift to rail the board if needed at 64cm wide:-) Sorry Leon for losing that loaned spreader bar into the depths of Boogy Lake:-( Sorry Goeff for sucking you out for another blast when wind eased and left you in the water swimming back:-(

X (4599km): Was expecting a light wind cruse with big gear but it was a bit stronger than that. I did not have my small board so took Michelles board out as it pin tail would cut trough the waves better which it did. However I still recovering from the bug of the last few weeks and quickly run out of energy so my number are very pathetic. T1 Experiance 165, HSM Speed Freak 6.5m, BPF Type S 35 |
