That was a very special afternoon. Good wind, moody skies, smooth waves and glimmers of low sunshine illuminating the water on each downwind run. There was a lot of south in the wind which seemed to keep the water flat. Ideal for working on gybes. Perfect wind for my favourite gear and great to be on it again after so much dodgy wind lately. I had though about staying home but I am glad I didn't - days like this do not come often.

I was hoping one of my gybes was faster than that, I did a few planing gybes.  Ohh well, maybe next time
