(Nor'East 16-23 knots) Good to get out for the first decent NE of the season. Very, very gusty. Was fun when it was on, but under-cooked otherwise. Could've done with the 7.3, but didn't pack it thinking it would be windier. Great to see the Botany regulars.
Loved the new Patrik 100. So smooth through the chop and gybed smoothly with complete confidence on a rail, unlike the falcon which took full concentration. Even when not fully lit, the Patrik pointed up wind really well and drove hard. Off the wind it felt really nice, gliding over the back of chop without ever feeling like letting go. Took a bit more to get on the plane than the Falcon (could be my lack of technique), but once there, it was so well behaved.
