Late session at goowla 15/20sw on 118l tabou 7.5 sve od, from rankines, 2 others out.

a bit choppy and gusty, tried to hard to get a run and stacked at speed in channel, lucky wearing helmet as i hit the mast pretty hard, shoulder and head a bit sore.

Had a fun saturday sail with a big turnout. Wind was 15 to 20. I used the 7m blade with a 95 board and 35 fin. Had a ball and was starting to get in a zone when snap. The base shered of the pin from the chop and that was it. Spent the next 45mins in the water. Cheers carl for checking if i was good then getting me a base :-).  Got going again but the wind died off so did a few more laps then called it a day. All in all i still had a ball

Came in later than had been recently. Rigged 6.5 Severne NCX on Exercet 58 thinking only going to be 13-15 as forecast, and headed up to the reeds for an hour or so, and it kicked in 15-20, had a pretty hard time getting back. Still was a good session

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Put the 7.3 on had some good runs up over by the reed beds. Felt a lot faster than the results. Sam checked my GPS before going out and said that I had previously had a peak of 33 kts. but that result has never showed up on KA72. Got too much for me in the end and struggled to get back downwind  to the car park. Me thinks different smaller board is in order.

Boggy lake 15 to 20 knots.

Took the girls down with me so only had an option of 1 board.  Forecast was for 15 odd knots so took the big board.  When we got there it was firing gusting to 20 knots.  Opted for the 6.3 and 35 fin.  Pretty loaded in the gusts but had alot of fun up the top with Sam until he broke another uni.  Still impressed with this big board in some big chop it just cruises.  Hopefully get on the 87 again soon lol...

Happy  birthday for tomorrow sam ☺

Patrik 115 / 6.3m gun sails GSR / Select SL7 35cm fin.
