Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU || NE 30-44kts @ Norah Head

PD48, GPS5.0, 50/19cm

Loved sailing off Peely. Really great spot to launch. Water was up pretty high, but there was still heaps of flat water. Worked my way up wind and it got flatter and flatter. There was some nuclear gusts, but I just never quite managed to line one up with a bare-away. I really could've done with a 5.5, but have a broken bottom batten. In hindsight I probably could've managed the 6m, which would've been perfect for baring off. Man the water was sooo smooth. Got some fantastic gybes on the speed board, but really didn't think I had an alpha today. Very stoked to finally crack 23!! VERY STOKED ON THE PATRIK 48.

Great to sail with the Budgy crew. You guys are a great bunch of blokes. Happy the Demerits made the trip up, Artur, George and Berowne.

No 40, but still a fantastic day! Yeeehhaaa

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU || 20-30 NE with a few stronger gusts

i94/ UFOws26 - 50 deg. & jp69 / UFO22ws with Koncept 5.8

Had a few runs with 4 kg lead on my back was feeling very smooth in the gusts.

Great day, not too much rain , not too cold a lot of people and plenty of fun.Smile

Epic session up at Budgewoi / Tuggers with a fair crowd of comitted people willing to risk going outside, in controvention of a strict government warning!

Mixed equipment... iSonic, 90L, 19cm Delta (seemed to max-out...), TR4, 5.5M and TRX 6.3.

I also took some photos and vid's.

Go DDs!  Stirling effort the tricky conditions at both Botany and Budgie.

Nigel. Excellent work showing off those twinkle toes toes for a 23.54 PB Alpha Racing.

And AlfaMale nice consistent speed with the PB for 5x10.

Can someone check powersloshins  pockets next time he's at Botany? Not sure about his swimming ability and carrying that extra weight. 😋

Nige, a 23 alpha on it's own is impressive. To do it on a speed board is taking it to the next level.

Well done man!!

So the video Link above works. Copy and paste it all into the address bar. Quality was not so good. I really struggled to hold the camera still! strongest winds I've ever videoed in!!
