Had a great day today. We had a massive turnout including some blow ins from beach port (jimbob) and Stansbury  (hoppy). Was a west wind so a little choopy and a bit up and down. Used 113 with 42.5 fin and tried out my new old maui tr9. Felt great. 6.3m

Fun arvo at boggy lake.  Great to see hoppy from stansbury and jimbob from lake George.  With pretty average conditions i dont know if they will be back in a hurry.  Great turnout. I arrived later than expected so missed the best of it but still had fun.  Used the big board for gusty conditions and the 6.3 gun sails gsr with 35 select fin.

Great company and thanks for the snags at the end of the day hop, heather and shane and nic 😀.

Sam looked good on the new rig 😊

Didn't realise it was going to be windy here went for 100k ride and half way through it wind picked up which made it a struggle getting back was too fucked when I got back :-( to go for a sail, glad the sail went ok for you Sam very easy rig to use.

Well sailed Sam and Carl. You's were still smashing it through the chops when everyone else was knackered and huddled around the nice fireCool

Great speed SamCool well done!

Great crew at Boggy, it does have appeal.  Camping there in the summer would be great!

The wind came in, but was very frontal and squally. That inconsistency plus the extra water in the lake might explain for some big (for le'bog) rollers that came through. My knees took a pounding whenever I tried to charge hard upwind, and I came very close to catching a rail on more than one down winders.  But I was grinning just from those times I found myself sailing fully lit again on the 6.2 OD/ 97iSonic with a (prolly overfinned) 35 s9.

Great turn-out for what I'm calling the BST's 'Spring Carnival'. Great to meet Mr & Mrs Hoppy, and it must have been the highest concentration of bogans yet, with cameos by PJ and Jimbob, Chris and Dave. Awesome to sail with the crew.

So I had two tech fails:

1- my gt-31 got moisture into it, probably fatally. If I'm super lucky, there's chance it was functioning enough that there's reliable sesh-info on the card, and I just need to get to it.

2- my go-pro somehow tilited down and now I have 21GB of the bill of my helmet and wind noises. It's not going to win an Oscar.

But hey, I got my first sail in months. Amped for next weekend now.
