Maui TR11 6.6, Exocet RS2, select V max 33 and 31.

wow blowing over 30 knots a few waves were sheeting water at coal point late in day super powered up on 6.6.

very happy with 25 hr in full open water big chop and i parked at cary bay for 2 min and didnt plane as there was no wind down there only went there once.

sand island was not windy today as to much east in it shame could have been 40 knot run if we had the wind at coal point at the islands.

Had a scary moment comming into coal point at 35 knots and the jetty andshore came up very quickly in big chop had a very last miniut laydown bailout.

great sailing with everyone seeing walshy on fin smoking ids a good sight.

20-25 ENE - Quick arvo session with Paddo and a few out from Coalie (Andy. Walshy, Byron, Hugh?) Struggled to find enough flat water and the right angle of attack. Wind seemed to be shifting a lot but was nice and consistant. Was overpowered at times on the 7.1. Looking forward to having another crack tomorrow.

Too much board and too much sail for this old guy, but I tried. The chop was hellish and worse than a washing machine which brought out the survival instinct in me.

Still smaller board and sail tomorrow if the forecast holds up.
