2463 days ago 2 categories   Swan bay, finally some good wind and good to catch up with Jaques and Roh, Red already gone. Got there as other guys packing up a bit concerned sailing alone in the blastery conditions but felt good until my old trusty fibrespar boom end kept on contracting in broken plastic fingers at extension bellowing out the sail.
Gusty squally but genarally controlable.
The boom then broke in the centre not even in a stack , just the constant flexing and hanging on in the gusts, a bit concerned at first being out on the bank but a couple of big down winders no problem one way, but the other one hand on each side of the break trying to keep it together. Glad to see the clup house appear. i could have gone another 1/2 hr or so and may be gone a bit faster but stoked with speeds considering lack of practice.
carbon art 90 speed KA koncept 5M 2007 still love this sail its shape competitive to the new ones. vector weed speed 21.
