Foreshore, NSW, AU

FMX Veloce 95 - Loftsails 6.3 - 31 fin

Was 50/50 going or not going and then Jules turned up!

Cant remember last tiem I sailed Foreshore, definitely not ideal with a upcoming tide making for some interesting chop down the runway.

Best speeds done in the lulls Surprised.

Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU. W/WNW 25-30kn. iSonic 107L, NP Evo 5.6m, JP 36cm fin. Another fun day in the blustery Westerly's with Remi, this time at Foreshore Road. Remi persisting with his trusty 6.3m, massively overpowered early, but if you sail long enough you're bound to find the sweet spot eventually (when the wind drops abpout 10 knots). Wink.

The 5.6m was overpowered on the first run, but then it dropped off for a while. But after a brief spell on the beach the wind came back in for a few final blasts. Forgotten how much adrenalin you get blasting down next to the runway on a broad reach...feeling too overpowered to gybe...so you think I'll just keep going until I feel more in control...waiting for a gap in the wind that doesn't come...getting to the section where the swells start build and you feel your board lifting off as you go over them...

Ahh, good to feel alive! (when you you finally get back to the beach)
