5979 days ago Drove down to Hardies chasing the big winds that were forecast, but by the time I had to leave at 5pm, it hadn't really happened - just 12-18 knots. Used the 6.6 Koncept on both the Manta 59 and the Carbon Art SP44. Hopefully PD & Snides got some more breeze after I left!

5979 days ago ~17-22kts @ peli point.... a lil bit less than forecast.. started on 5.8/sx/32gw then tried out the missile small+newly rebased weed fin, n got the max 2 sec(by software, not display).. cant wait to use it @ mandurah. sailed for the rest of the day on 5.0 due to finally noticing a broken batten on th 5.8

5979 days ago Made the drive to Hardies on the promise of a big breeze - that failed to eventuate. Sailed off the beach straight into an hour + grind - wish I had an adjustable outhaul on the 6.6 boom! Managed an hour PB on the navi data - just under all time PB on the Garmin data. 6.6 KA Koncept 08, Kinetic Gladiator 95, Finworks weed eater 29.5 cm.Wind 18-22 kn [forescast 20-30!!].
This session, a wide ranging 60 odd km advenure around Peel inlet, tells me there is much more to this place than just Hardies!

5979 days ago Not as windy as forecast. Looked OK though so rigged a 7.5m on the SP50 and KA23 assy. As soon as I put my rig on the water the wind dropped out. Snides and PD came in as I went out. The whitecaps that were there when I was rigging dissappeared. Oh well. It was worth it to discover the 7.5m works well on the SP50 and 23 assy. No problems getting upwind on the wrong tack. Pretty stoked with my top speed considering the wind would not have been 20kts in the gusts... Go SRM!

5979 days ago decided to head down to the crab hole at hardies to try and improve the hr and alpha turns out i failed in the alpha but pb the hr not all that happy though as it was prob my worst attempt at it!! better luck next time.
