5912 days ago Fun sesh at Point Walter in gusty conditions. 20-30k.
Started out on the Kinetic G115 + 6.6 Koncept + 36 Tech Goldwing.
Over-finned for the conditions and the board was lifting off the water.
Had a massive crash at around 34k when the board started tail-walking, then the mast snapped. Took the better part of an hour to walk back along the sandbar and rerig my 5.8 koncept.
Got back into it and sailed 'til dark.
My best peak was on the 6.6. Got some 33's & 34's on the 5.8, but I was a bit under-done. 6.6 was spot on, just needed a smaller fin.
Really enjoyable sesh. It was gusty, but still plenty of thrills and spills to be had. Good to get a PB, but reckon I could have got a 37 or a 38 if I had of kept sailing on the 6.6. Never mind. Good to break the drought after 3 windless weeks!!

Needed to rig the big sail 6.6, but opted for the smaller one because of the tendinitis in the arm.
Great fun sailing with Lao Shi and Slowie what a blast, arm getting better
